For the first 5 feet (152 cms) the weight should be 106 pounds (48Kgs)
For each additional inch add 6 pounds. Remember each Pound weighs 453 grams.
Thumb Rule for the ideal weight of Women can be calculated as under:
For the first 5 feet (152 cms) the weight should be 100 pounds(45 Kgs).
For each additional inch add 5 pounds.

How to measure W2H ratio:
Use a measuring tape to check the waist and hip circumference.

What is Apple shape of the Body?
Apple body shape is linked with health problems such as Coronary Heart Disease, Diabetes,

APPLE shape body is a body pattern where fat is stored around the middle - i.e. abdomen,
chest and surrounds internal organs, such as the heart)
This shape is predominantly a male phenomenon. Women are more prone to develop an
apple shape in mid-life, particularly after menopause.
This is because the female hormones are present in much smaller amounts after menopause
and so the shape tends to become more 'male'.
There is also evidence that abdominal fat develops when you are under long-term stress.

stress-reduction techniques.

Pear Body Shape carry their extra weight below the waistline, and do not seem to have as
high a risk of developing health problems like diabetes, heart disease, stroke, high blood
pressure than people with APPLE pattern of body shape.
Peer body shape person have hips wider waist line than their shoulders because their bodies store fat there below waist line on the thighs.
Pear shaped people usually lose fat in the upper body, so their overall shape doesn't change much when they lose weight.
Q. What is Body Mass Index? Does it help in anyway to assess the Obesity ?
BMI (Body Mass Index) is a measurement of body fat based on height and weight that
applies to both men and women between 18 and 65 years of age.
BMI can be used to indicate if you are overweight, obese, underweight or normal.
A healthy BMI score is between 20 and 25. A score below 20 indicates that you may be
underweight; a value above 25 indicates that you may be overweight.
You can calculate your BMI by using the BMI Formula.
